Raphael honestly couldn't remember how he'd gotten to April's cozy apartment. Well, the rusted fire escape. The metal bars groaned with protest as the ninja staggered, obviously still heavily under the influence of his bad choices. Hell, bad choices were nothing new to the turtle in red, but tonight had hosted a marathon of them.

Sighing deeply as if the gesture would ease his frustration, Raphael braced himself against the frame of the kitchen window, wondering if this was a good idea. He had alienated himself from his entire family and had walked away. Pushing back the nagging reluctance, Raph tested the kitchen window to see if it was unlocked, as she usually left it in case one of them needed a retreat. Fortunately it budged, and the drunken Reptile climbed in through the opening with all of the grace of a dying wildebeest. His large foot became ensnared in the curtains and his arrival was signified by the sound of something massive hitting the ground....
